βββββ This place has some really caring staff, but the overall experience is inconsistent. A few therapists, techs/patient care staff, activity staff, and a few case managers are the people who seem to keep the place going. They spend time with patients, run groups, check in on people, and actually make an effort to build relationships. On the other hand, a lot of staff don't seem very involved with the patients and do not talk to the clients or get to know us. It often feels like they're unavailable or don't know how to help. Management also isn't very visible on the unit, which can make it feel like there's a lack of direction. And people complained that they never saw their therapists unless it was in the office or doing groups and felt that should change. The techs seem to do everything that management and therapists should do. There have also been issues with medication management and communication that are concerning. Hopefully those are things that can be improved. If you ask the patients who the best staff, techs, and therapists are, you'll probably hear the same names over and over. It's pretty obvious who is active on the unit and who cares about the people they're w

We took a family member here and unfortunately it was not a good experience. When we did the initial intake over the phone, they told us she would be there for 3 weeks. Once she got in the facility they told her it would be 6 weeks. After my husband called up there to find out, they said 6-8 weeks. We had no definitive time frame on how long she would be there. In addition to that, there was no air conditioning in the entire building and was extremely hot and uncomfortable for her. Another issue we had was that they were not getting her into the therapy sessions she needed to be in. After being there 4 days, she had only attended 1 group therapy session. When we asked about this, they said they hadnβt got her set up for sessions yet. The only good thing we can say about it is that the employees were nice and the food was good. Other than that, I would not recommend this place.

Went here for a period of 6 weeks. I expected it to be sort of a psych ward type place but was pleasantly surprised. You get to keep your clothes and most of your personal items excluding electronics and some products that contain things like alcohol in the first three ingredients or razor blades. They also have a great yoga program and great food. However there are some issues with the place such as inconsistencies with the rules. The place is very new so theyβre still working out a lot of things but theyβre very receptive to feedback and there is a meeting every week where patients are allowed to discuss any sort of issues that they have. There were a lot of people there recently, so it was kind of crowded, and there were some people who were let in who shouldβve been in the psych ward instead and were causing issues. Thankfully, the problematic people got removed but it took a lot of pressing from patients and thereβs not enough security so patients had to step in to stop altercations. Itβs also very important to advocate for yourself as the med staff and other staff can and will make mistakes, they are also short staffed. At one point my medication expired and I went multipl

I had a really positive experience with Capella Recovery Center. From the moment I reached out, the staff was responsive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in helping. You can tell they care about each individual and take the time to understand what someone is going through rather than treating it like a one-size-fits-all program. The environment felt safe, supportive, and structured in a way that actually promotes growth and healing. The team creates a strong sense of community, and itβs clear they prioritize both mental health and substance abuse recovery with professionalism and empathy. If you or a loved one is looking for a place that truly puts people first, I would definitely recommend Capella Recovery Center. Their dedication and level of care really stand out.

I cannot say enough good things about this mental health facility. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. The staff go above and beyond to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment, which makes a huge difference during such a vulnerable time. The therapist team is fantastic. Communication was clear, and I felt included in the treatment planning process. Iβd recommend this to a loved one struggling with any mental health disorder/diagnosis.

I canβt say enough good things about Capella Recovery Center. I came in struggling with my mental health, and from day one I felt genuinely cared for and understood. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly goes above and beyond to support you every step of the way. The facility itself is extremely clean and well-kept, which made it feel safe and comfortable. The beds are honestly some of the most comfortable Iβve had, which really helped me get the rest I needed. The food was also surprisingly really goodβdefinitely not what youβd expect, and it made a big difference during my stay. They created an environment where I could actually focus on healing, and the individualized care I received changed everything for me. Iβm leaving in a much better place with real tools to move forward.
